George Roop

The upcoming TUF Nations Finale card has received its 10th bout, as the UFC has announced that George Roop will face bantamweight Dustin Kimura at the April 16th event. The card will be hosted by Quebec City’s Colisee Pepsi, and will feature Tim Kennedy taking on fellow middleweight contender Michael Bisping in the main event.

Roop (14-10-1) will be looking to get back on the winning track, as the 6’1 tall vet is coming off a stoppage loss to Francisco Rivera in November. Prior to the loss, Roop recorded consecutive wins over Brian Bowles and Reuben Duran. The former featherweight is 2-3 in his last 5 fights.

Kimura (11-1) recently tapped out Jon delos Reyes with a first round, armbar at UFC FN 34, after being choked out by Mitch Gagnon at UFC 165 in September.

The TUF Nations Finale will also feature the middleweight and welterweight finals from the current “Canada vs. Australia” season, as well as a bout between opposing coaches Pat Cote and Kyle Noke.
