Georges St-Pierre Says He’s Talking to The UFC About Comeback, “We’re on Good Terms”

Georges St-Pierre

By FCF Staff

Georges St-Pierre has yet to commit to a comeback, but it is looking more and more like the former welterweight champ could be headed back to the Octagon.

Since St-Pierre announced he was taking a hiatus from fighting in 2013, there have been several periods of time, where it was rumored a comeback might be imminent. While the official announcement never came in those instances, in recent weeks, GSP has admitted he has the motivation to fight again. Further, with UFC 200 right around the corner, there’s been considerable speculation that the promotion is hoping to book the Canadian star for the July 9th card.

Recently St-Pierre attended a Toronto Raptors basketball game, and during it, he was interviewed by TSN’s Rod Black. When asked if he’s coming back to the Octagon, GSP said he’s on “good terms” with the UFC, and reported that “we’re talking”. The 34 year-old stopped short, however, of saying he will return.
