After months of speculation as to when and who Georges St-Pierre will fight in his comeback bout, UFC President Dana White has announced that it will be middleweight champ, Michael Bisping.

White reportedly announced the news on the latest SportsCenter. The exact date of the fight has yet to be determined, although it won’t take place until the second half of 2017.

St-Pierre (25-2) hasn’t fought since 2013, when he earned a tightly contested, split decision win over Johny Hendricks. After the bout the Canadian star announced he was vacating the welterweight title, and that he was taking a hiatus from fighting.

Bisping (30-7) is coming off a decision win over Dan Henderson in October, and more recently, the British fighter has been sidelined due to minor knee surgery. Before St-Pierre finalized a new deal with the UFC, Bisping was expected to face contender Yoel Romero next.
