GLORY 18: Robin van Roosmalen Takes Lightweight Title, Saulo Cavalari Wins Light-Heavyweight Tourney

GLORY returned to action Friday night with the kickboxing promotion’s 18th event, and crowned a new lightweight champion in the process.

Robin van Roosmalen outgunned Davit Kiria to record a unanimous decision win over the rugged vet, and secure the GLORY lightweight belt.

In the card’s light-heavyweight tourney, Saulo Cavalari decisioned Danyo Ilunga and KO’d the powerful Zack Mwekassa to win the one night competition.

Jason Wilnis upset top ranked middleweight Wayne Barrett, as he knocked the contender down two times, and received the UD victory.
