GLORY 24: Dustin Jacoby vs. Wayne Barrett to Co-Headline After Pat Barry’s Withdrawal

Dustin Jacoby

By FCF Staff

GLORY’s October 9th card has undergone a big change one month out, as the kickboxing promotion has announced that Pat Barry has been forced to withdraw from the event, due to an elbow injury. The UFC vet was scheduled to fight Karl Roberson in the co-headliner.

GLORY 24’s new co-main event will feature Dustin Jacoby (6-5, 5 KO) taking on fellow American middleweight, Wayne Barrett (5-3, 4 KO) .

Jacoby defeated Ariel Sepulveda and Casey Green at GLORY 23 last month to win the promotion’s middleweight qualification tournament. Barrett, meanwhile, is looking to get back on track after dropping consecutive fights to Joe Schilling, Jason Wilnis and Simon Marcus.

A bout between Wilnis and Schilling will headline GLORY 24, which will be hosted by the Magness Arena in Denver.

Here is the updated line-up for GLORY 24. The main card will be broadcast on Spike.

Middleweight Headline Bout: Joe Schilling vs. Jason Wilnis
Heavyweight Tournament Final Bout: Winner of Bout A vs. Winner of Bout B
Middleweight Co-Headline Bout: Dustin Jacoby vs. Wayne Barrett
Heavyweight Tournament Semi-Final Bout B: Benjamin Adegbuyi vs. Mladen Brestovac
Heavyweight Tournament Semi-Final Bout A: Ben Edwards vs. Jahfarr Wilnis
