GLORY 24: Joe Schilling Scores Win After Jason Wilnis Injury

Joe Schilling

By FCF Staff

Joe Schilling did his best to lock up another fight with middleweight champ Artem Levin at GLORY 24 tonight, as the American scored a stoppage win over Jason Wilnis.

Schilling outscored Wilnis in the opening round of the main event, and in round two, he knocked the latter down as he attempted a kick. Wilnis recovered, however, and landed several punishing shots before the second frame ended.

But, before round three was set to begin, the bout was called off due to a foot injury Wilnis had incurred.

Schilling was initially scheduled to fight Levin at tonight’s card, but the middleweight champ had to pull out due to injury.

Here are the main card results for GLORY 24, which took place in Denver.

Joe Schilling def. Jason Wilnis via TKO (corner stoppage due to injury) R2, 3:00

Dustin Jacoby def. Wayne Barrett via TKO (punches) R3, 1:40

Heavyweight Contender Tournament Final

Benjamin Adegbuyi def. Jahfarr Wilnis via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)
