GLORY’s 2016 campaign will conclude with a long awaited, all-star bout, as the promotion is reporting that heavyweight champ Rico Verhoeven will battle Badr Hari in December.

The bout, which has yet to receive a set date, was reported first by the Telegraph.

Hari (118-12) has long been considered one of the top strikers on the planet, but due to legal issues, the fighter has competed just four times since 2013. Most recently, the heavyweight stopped Ismael Londt while competing for the Akhmat Fight Show in August, 2015.

Verhoeven (48-10), meanwhile, earned a decision win over Mladen Brestovac in March. The champion is booked to defend the title versus Anderson Silva at GLORY 33 on September 9th.

GLORY 33 will take place at the Sun National Bank Center in Trenton, New Jersey.
