DENVER – GLORY, the world’s premier kickboxing league, is proud to announce its partnership with UFC.tv, the largest Pay-Per-View provider in the world, for Pay-Per-View distribution of GLORY: COLLISION from König-Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, Germany on Saturday, Dec. 10.

On Tuesday, the organization hosted a press conference at Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam, revealing that for the first time ever, UFC.tv will be the exclusive Pay-Per-View provider of a non-UFC fight card.

GLORY: COLLISION will be distributed as a live Pay-Per-View event on North American cable and satellite providers including iN DEMAND, DirecTV, and DISH Network and globally via the UFC.tv digital service.

Priced at $29.95 US and now available for purchase at ufc.tv/glorycollision, this once in a lifetime special event is headlined by one of the most anticipated match-ups in combat sports history. Reigning GLORY world champion Rico “The King of Kickboxing” Verhoeven (49-10, 13 KO) clashes with long-time divisional kingpin Badr “The Golden Boy” Hari (106-12, 93 KO) for a showdown years in the making.

“This is the fight that combat sports fans have been begging for. The two best heavyweight strikers on the planet will finally throw down,” said Jon Franklin, GLORY CEO. “A fight of this magnitude requires teaming up with the leaders in big fight promotion and we’ve done just that with UFC.tv.”

Eric Winter, UFC Senior Vice President and General Manager of UFC FIGHT PASS, added: “I’m very excited that we’ve reached an agreement with our partners at GLORY to offer this special GLORY: COLLISION event on a live Pay-Per-View basis on UFC.tv. This historic event is years in the making and fans around the world will be able to experience it on the leading digital Pay-Per-View platform.

“Verhoeven vs Hari is the biggest fight in kickboxing in years – maybe the single biggest fight in the history of the sport. As a fan, I cannot wait to see what happens when the two most dominant heavyweights in the sport finally collide.”

The deal is separate from an existing agreement between GLORY and UFC FIGHT PASS for exclusive global rights to digitally broadcast GLORY SuperFight Series cards. GLORY 36 SuperFight Series will be broadcast live at 7:30 p.m. local time (1:30 p.m. ET / 10:30 a.m. PT), serving as the lead-in to GLORY: COLLISION.

GLORY: COLLISION, which begins at 10 p.m. CET (4 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT), will immediately precede the early prelims for UFC 206: Cormier vs. Johnson, available via UFC FIGHT PASS.

GLORY also announced the full card for GLORY: COLLISION on Tuesday, adding three bouts to the special event lineup.

Undefeated inside the GLORY ring and riding an 11-fight winning streak into the contest, GLORY welterweight world champion Nieky “The Natural” Holzken (90-11, 46 KO) sets his sights on French challenger Cedric “DOUMCED” Doumbé (56-4-1, 35 KO), who has agitated the champion in recent weeks.

In a hard-hitting heavyweight attraction, No. 1 ranked Ismael “Mr. Pain” Londt (38-6-1, 18 KO) of the Netherlands returns against the imposing presence of Moroccan-Belgian knockout artist Jamal “The Goliath” Ben Saddik (27-4, 23 KO).

GLORY: COLLISION also features the final round of the Women’s Super Bantamweight Grand Prix tournament. The two Grand Prix finalists – who won their respective GLORY 36 SuperFight Series semifinal match-ups earlier in the evening – will square off to be crowned inaugural GLORY super bantamweight world champion and earn a cash prize of $25,000.
