GLORY is back on Spike Netherlands. GLORY and Spike will team up to promote and stream the world’s biggest kickboxing events, starting with a trilogy of GLORY’s upcoming premium pay-per-view events.

GLORY, the global leader in kickboxing, and ViacomCBS broadcaster Spike today announced a media partnership making Spike a core distributor of GLORY events effective November 2020.

This unique partnership starts with GLORY 76 featuring Badr Hari vs. Benjamin Adegbuyi on November 7. Following the announcement of new measures against the coronavirus in the Netherlands, GLORY is seeking final approvals and collaborating closely with local authorities to host GLORY 76 in a safe manner for all athletes, partners and staff involved.

GLORY fans will be able to purchase the GLORY 76 pay-per-view event for € 12.99 via the Spike or GLORY websites. Fans will get access to all GLORY 76 fights featured on the main card. More information will soon be available on the Spike and GLORY websites.

Rico vs. Jamal Title Fight
In addition to GLORY 76, GLORY and Spike TV Netherlands are excited to announce that Rico Verhoeven’s next title defense will be against Jamal Ben Saddik, with more details to be released shortly after GLORY 76. After winning the 8-man heavyweight tournament with a broken hand at GLORY 62, Ben Saddik will get his second shot at the belt and try to dethrone the King of Kickboxing.

Connecting people with kickboxing more than ever
“We are thrilled to partner with ViacomCBS and Spike with an agreement that will continue to grow kickboxing in the Netherlands and around the world,” said Scott Rudmann, GLORY Executive Vice Chairman. “Spike plays a key role in building the sport and has a dedicated, growing fan base. Together we will continue to look for innovative ways to promote our athletes and introduce fans to new stars. ”

ViacomCBS Executive Vice President and General Manager Northern Europe Maurice Hols agrees: “I am delighted with this unique collaboration between GLORY and Spike. GLORY is the largest kickboxing organization in the world. Together we will connect people with the sport more than ever. The collaboration with GLORY is in line with Spike’s passion for kickboxing. We are proud that Spike can stream even more top sports to our target audience.”
