Grandmont vs. Spratt Among Confirmed Bouts For Instinct MMA 2
By FCF Staff
Instinct MMA continues to round out the line-up for its upcoming, December 2nd event in Quebec City, Quebec, after the promotion held its debut card last month.
Headlining Instinct MMA 2 will be a welterweight tilt between Martin Grandmont and UFC vet Pete Spratt, who is stepping in for the injured Phil Baroni.
Grandmont (12-5) is coming off a head kick, knockout victory over William Sriyapai at the aforementioned Instinct MMA 1 card in October, to extend his winning streak to three.
Spratt (23-21) last competed in September and lost by split decision to Jorge Patino, while fighting under the Legacy Fighting Championship banner. Prior to the defeat, Spratt stopped Antonio Flores in the first round at LFC 7 in July.
Some of the other bouts that have been confirmed for Instinct MMA 2 include light-heavyweight Todd Stoute (3-0) vs. Evan Nedd (3-2), Brandon Thatch (5-1) vs. welterweight Patrick Vallee (7-1), lightweight Derek Gauthier (7-3) vs. Ricky Goodall (7-4), and featherweight Tim Wadsworth (5-0) vs. Waylon Lowe (11-4).
The upcoming December 2nd card will be hosted by Quebec City’s Pavilion de la Jeunesse.
