Dan Hardy not only stopped a four fight losing skid and saved his UFC roster spot by knocking out Duane Ludwig last night in Las Vegas, the British slugger collected an extra $70,000 for his efforts.

Hardy earned “Knockout of the Night” for the stoppage, as did Roy Nelson, who quickly floored Dave Herman with an overhand right in their heavyweight bout.

“Submission of the Night” awards, and an extra $70,000 each, went to Stefan Struve and Paul Sass.

Struve tapped out Lavar Johnson with an armbar shortly into their main card  bout, while Sass submitted Jacob Volkmann with a nicely executed triangle-choke, armbar combo.

No “Fight of the Night” bonus was handed out at UFC 146, which was hosted by the MGM Grand.
