Olivier Aubin-Mercier isn’t sure what’s going to happen next in his fighting career, but the lightweight says he’ll be back, following his third straight loss.
The Canadian fighter took on Arman Tsarukyan at UFC 240 on Saturday, and lost the fight via unanimous decision. The 30-year-old was coming off consecutive decision losses to Evan Dunham and Rocco Martin heading into the bout. Those defeats, however, followed a four fight winning streak.
Since the loss, the accomplished Judo competitor shared out the statement below on Instagram.

Won't lie, im hearthbroken. 3 consecutive L is not great, when you try to be the best in the world. I was more than ready and was better than ever, @arm_011 was simply the better man. I dont know what's going to happen next. The only thing I know is that i'm not done. I will be back. I still think i'm getting better everyday, I'm healthy and I still have the passion to fight. I love my life and I'm proud of what I accomplished so far, this is just a pretty big bump in my career. I would like to thank my coaches @firas_zahabi @h2omma @levis.dlabrie @ryanortizo_onelegwonder @myologik_performance @georgesstpierre And I would like to thank you guys for the support.
