Invicta FC 19: Jennifer Maia Retains 125 Title

Invicta FC held its latest event on Friday night in Kansas City, and following the card, Jennifer Maia remained the promotion’s undisputed, flyweight champ.

Maia worked her way to a split decision win over veteran Roxanne Modafferi, following the news Friday, that Barb Honchak had been stripped of the flyweight title due to inactivity. Maia had been the interim champ prior to Invicta’s decision to strip Honchak.

In the co-headliner, Ayaka Hamasaki defended her atomweight belt, by stopping Jinh Yu Frey.
