Islam Makhachev’s Co-manager Fires Back at Dan Hooker, Denies Champ Used IV

Dan Hooker is making headlines, after accusing Islam Makhachev of using an IV, following the UFC 284 weigh-ins. But, the lightweight champ’s co-manager is vehemently denying that’s the case.
Following Makachev’s decision win over Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 284 this past Saturday, Hooker accused the fighter of illegally using an IV. Hooker, who is a teammate of Volkanovski’s, has repeated the accusation.
In a follow-up statement to MMA Junkie, Makhachev’s co-manager, Rizvan Magomedov, said the following:
“We all know this is completely BS. The guy is a loser. He’s salty and just looking for attention, and that’s it.”
Makhachev also fought Hooker in 2021 and recorded a first-round, submission win.
