Ivan Menjivar has yet to be booked for his next bout, following his first round, submission loss to Urijah Faber at UFC 157 in February, but the 30 year-old-bantamweight says he’s ready to go when the UFC calls.

Menjivar relayed to Full Contact Fighter today that he is hoping to fight this summer or at the UFC’s next Toronto event in September. The Tristar fighter also said, however, that he’s training “all the time” in case someone gets injured, and the UFC calls looking for a replacement.

Prior to facing Faber, Menjivar (25-10) scored a first round, armbar submission win over Azamat Gashimov at UFC 154 in November. The Montreal resident has gone 4-2 to date in the UFC.
