Jairzinho Rozenstruik Believes He’ll See Francis Ngannou “Soon”, Following UFC DC Win
By FCF Staff
Following Jairzinho Rozenstruik’s late, jaw-dropping finish of Alistair Overeem at UFC DC, the noted striker called for a bout with Francis Ngannou. While it remains to be seen if that match-up happens, Rozenstruik is confident it will.
Rozenstruik challenged Ngannou to fight after he put away Overeem with just four seconds left in their main event fight. Ngannou tweeted out this following Rozenstruik’s callout:
I heard you babayga. You made yourself very clear tonight. Congrats on your come back by the way.#uncrowndedchamp ☝️#UFCDC

When informed of Ngannou’s response, Rozenstruik said this (quotes via MMA Fighting):
“I like it,” Rozenstruik said. “If he accepts, I’m excited about it. I’m going to see him soon then.”
“I think it’s going to be a really good fight,” Rozenstruik said. “I mean he’s strong, he’s big. Even when I’m going to look at him like you’re big, you’re scary but we have to do it.
“For me, sure [I can knock him out]. If I hit you, if I get that big head of him, yeah we will see right away, for sure.”
With last night’s win, Rozenstruik moved his UFC record to 4-0 and his overall MMA record to 10-0.
