Jairzinho Rozenstruik’s Manager Argues Title Shot is “no Brainer” if Rising HW Beats Francis Ngannou
By FCF Staff
Jairzinho Rozenstruik has blasted his way into a pivotal fight with Francis Ngannou, and if the heavyweight wins that fight his manager says a title shot should be a lock.
Rozenstruik (10-0) has gone 4-0 to date in the UFC and after scoring a late, stoppage win over Alistair Overeem in December, he’s been booked to fight Ngannou on March 28th. The UFC is holding a card in Columbus, Ohio on that date.
Recently the experienced kickboxer’s manager Abraham Kawa spoke with MMA Junkie, and while discussing the upcoming fight, he said this:
“If he (Rozenstruik) beats Francis Ngannou, I think it’s a no-brainer he needs to be next for the title,” Kawa said. “We know we’re still waiting for the whole Stipe-DC thing to get figured out if that fight ever happens, eventually it does. If Jair beats Francis, who skips him? Just give me a name.”
Ngannou (14-3) is riding a three fight winning streak and his last bout, he quickly stopped Junior dos Santos. Rozenstruik is currently ranked #5 in the UFC’s heavyweight rankings and Ngannou is #2.
