Jake Paul to Box Mike Perry Next
By FCF Staff
Following the postponement of his fight with Mike Tyson, Jake Paul has signed to box UFC veteran and current BKFC star, Mike Perry.
Paul was scheduled to box Tyson on July 20th. But, the legendary boxer reportedly had to withdraw due to an issue with an ulcer. The fight is expected to take place November 15th.
More recently, Happy Punch reported that Paul was going to box Perry on July 20th, and promotion officials have since confirmed the match-up. The bout will be an eight-round, cruiserweight contest.
The fight will take place in Tampa, Florida, and will be a DAZN pay-per-view.
Paul has gone 9-1 to date in pro-boxing matches. Most recently, the YouTube celebrity recorded a stoppage win over Ryan Bourland.
Perry, who was knocked out in his only, pro-boxing fight back in 2015, has gone 5-0 in bare-knuckle fights. In his last BKFC bout, which took place in April, he stopped Thiago Alves.
