Jeff Hougland vs. Donny Walker Added to UFC 132
By FCF Staff
The Ultimate Fighting Championship has restored an eleventh bout for the promotion’s upcoming July 2nd event in Las Vegas, Nevada, as a bantamweight bout between Octagon newcomers Jeff Hougland and Donny Walker has been confirmed.
The fight replaces the Cub Swanson, Erik Koch tilt, which was swiped from the card due to Swanson incurring an injury.
Hougland (9-4) has worked his way to the UFC riding an eight fight winning streak. Most recently at Rumble on the Ridge 18 in May, Hougland submitted Craig Ross in the first round.
Walker (15-6) has won seven straight fights heading into UFC 132. In his last outing, at a NAAFS card in December, Walker tapped out Billy Vaughan with a first round rear-naked-choke.
UFC 132 will be hosted by the MGM Grand Garden Arena and will see bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz fight Urijah Faber in the main event.
