Jesus Is Lord Has A New Gym!

Jesus Is Lord Gym
Believe it or not, the group of fighters out of Hawaii that call themselves the Jesus Is Lord Team achieved their successes training out of a high school wrestling room. Their success is highlighted by Ray "Bradda" Cooper’s #1 ranking for the Shooto Middleweight Championship, currently held by Hayato Sakurai. Cooper has just signed with Superstar Sports & Entertainment Agency. SSEA will be managing Cooper and has built a brand new gym for the Jesus Is Lord team. The gym is a far cry from the old wrestling room that they had spent many nights training in. It is nearly 4,000 square feet of space containing a brand new wrestling mat, measuring 27′ X 30′, allowing them ample area to grapple.

Jesus Is Lord Gym
The new gym also includes a brand new boxing ring that measures 20′ X 20′, because Jesus Is Lord primarily fights in FutureBrawl, which utilizes a ring instead of a cage. This allows the Jesus Is Lord team the ability to train in and get a firm grasp of the space and dynamics of the ring. The gym is also equipped with 4 heavy bags, 1 uppercut bag, 1 banana bag, 2 double-ended bags, and 2 speed bags. The gym currently has one weight bench, but plans are in the works for cardio equipment, which include 2 stairmasters, 2 treadmills, and 2 ski machines. They are also going to add more weight equipment and, get this…whirlpools! The gym also includes an office and bathrooms.

Jesus Is Lord Gym
Most of the Jesus Is Lord team have families that are very supportive of their training and regularly accompany the fighters to their workouts, so they even have a romper room for the kids. And believe me, it’s no secret why these guys are in such good shape, if after their workouts they go chasing after all those kids at home! Lastly, they are also planning on installing showers. This gym currently has just the essentials, but will soon have it all. If these guys showed such success training in the spartan facilities of the high school wrestling room, can you imagine the results they are going to have with this kind of set up? I am currently finishing an interview with Ray "Bradda" Cooper, an excerpt of which, I will post to give FCF readers preview of the full interview which will appear in the next issue.
