Just a couple of weeks removed from the news that Jimi Manuwa has signed with the UFC, the promotion has confirmed that the British fighter will take on Kyle Kinsbury at its upcoming, September 29th event in Nottingham, England.

Kingsbury (11-4) will be looking to end a two fight losing streak, as the American Kickboxing Academy fighter is coming off losses to Stephan Bonnar and more recently Glover Teixiera.

Prior to the defeats Kingsbury had won four straight bouts.

Manuwa (11-0) hasn’t competed since December when the undefeated light-heavyweight scored a stoppage win over Antony Rea at BAMMA 8.

Since Manuwa began fighting professionally in 2006, the Keddles Gym fighter has finished all 11 of the opponents he has faced.

The UFC on FUEL TV 5 card will be hosted by Nottingham’s Capital FM Arena, and will feature a heavyweight bout between Stipe Miocic and Stefan Struve in the main event.
