Joe Ellenberger Signs Four Fight Deal With UFC
By FCF Staff
There are officially two Ellenbergers on the UFC roster now, as the twin brother of Jake Ellenberger, Joe, has signed a four fight deal with the promotion.
The 28 year-old lightweight, who carries an impressive 14-1 record, announced the news via Twitter recently.

Ellenberger joins the UFC having won back-to-back bouts while competing for the Victory Fighting Championship and Titan Fighting Championship. The only man to defeat “Excalibur” to date is UFC vet Justin Salas.
The rising lightweight was offered a UFC contract several years ago, however, it came after Ellenberger was diagnosed with a rare blood disease. At the time, it wasn’t clear whether Ellenberger would be able to fight any longer. Thanks to a new medication, however, his promising career continued on.
No information regarding the decorated, collegiate wrestler’s Octagon debut has been announced.
