Joe Lauzon rebounded from his February loss to Anthony Pettis in dramatic style tonight at UFC on FOX 4, as the veteran picked up not one, but two bonus awards for his win over Jamie Varner.

First off, Lauzon and Varner earned “Fight of the Night” honors and an extra $50,000 each for their entertaining clash, which featured memorable exchanges on the feet and ground.

In the third round, Lauzon caught Varner during a scramble with a fight ending triangle-choke, which also earned the Massachusetts’ fighter “Submission of the Night.”

“Knockout of the Night” went to Mike Swick, who, in what was his first bout since February, 2010, stopped Damarques Johnson in round two.

After tripping Johnson to the mat, Swick finished the welterweight from above with a series of hard punches to record his 15th pro win. Swick also received $50,000 for the win.

The American Kickboxing Academy fighter had missed over two years of action due to injury and illness.

UFC on FOX 4 was hosted by the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
