World Series of Fighting has begun unveiling the line-up for the promotion’s third event, which will take place June 14th at The Joint in Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition to an expected bout between welterweight vets Jon Fitch and Josh Burkman, the card will feature a light-heavyweight tilt between kickboxing star Tyrone Spong and Angel Deanda.

“We are coming off a spectacular event showcasing some of the world’s greatest mixed martial arts athletes and up-and-coming talent of the sport and are looking forward to returning to Las Vegas with another outstanding night of world-class competition in the World Series of Fighting cage on NBC Sports Network,” said World Series of Fighting President and kickboxing legend Ray Sefo.

Fitch (24-5-1) will be making his promotional debut, after he was surprisingly released by the UFC earlier this year, following a unanimous decision loss to Demian Maia.

Burkman (25-9-) is coming off a UD win over Gerald Harris and most recently a stoppage victory over Aaron Simpson under the WSOF banner.

Spong (1-0) is returning to MMA action after stopping Remy Bonjasky at a GLORY kickboxing card in March. In his MMA debut last November, Spong KO’d Travis Bartlett at the first WSOF card.

Deanda (11-2) has won four straight fights and stopped Anthony Ruiz at a Tachi Palace Fights card in November.

Some of the other bouts that have been confirmed for WSOF 3 include Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Rolles Gracie (8-1)  versus heavyweight Dave Huckaba (21-4), the undefeated Justin Gaethje (8-0) versus lightweight vet Brian Cobb (20-7), John Gunderson (34-14) versus fellow UFC vet Dan “The Upgrade” Lauzon (16-4) and Krasimir Mladenov (8-0) versus middleweight Kendrick Miree (5-0).

The card will be broadcast live on the NBC Sports Network.
