Recently Dominick Reyes questioned whether Jon Jones is ducking a rematch with him, and since then, the light-heavyweight champ’s hinted he’s more interested in fighting Jan Blachowicz.

Jones faced Reyes at UFC 247 in February and received a unanimous decision win. Many people, however, scored the bout for Reyes and there’s been widespread calls for a rematch.

More recently Reyes claimed Jones may be looking to avoid a rematch, since their first bout was a “dog fight”. That prompted Jones to reportedly tweet out this (quotes via MMA Junkie).

“Now suddenly I’m afraid of a good dogfight?” Jones wrote. “Pretty sure I walked him down for 25 minutes straight when we fought. One thing about being the champion of the world, you got to search for fresh meat on every soil. I’m feeling like popping some (cherries) in Poland, haven’t had that yet.”

One week after Jones defeated Reyes, Poland’s Blachowicz took another step towards a title shot by knocking out Corey Anderson.
