Jon Jones Reaches Plea Deal Following Latest Driving Incident
By FCF Staff
Following his arrest for violating the terms of his probation, Jon Jones has reached a plea deal with New Mexico authorities, and will fight at UFC 197 as scheduled.
Jones was arrested earlier this week after he was cited for several traffic violations recently in Albuquerque. The former light-heavyweight champ is currently on probation as a result of a hit-and-run incident last year.
The 28 year-old appeared in court today, where it was announced that Jones will need to enrol in anger management courses, a driver training course, and he will also need to complete an additional 60 hours of community service.
Jones is scheduled to fight champion Daniel Cormier on April 23rd in Las Vegas, Nevada.
