By FCF Staff
Jon Jones hadn’t commented publicly on his recent arrest in Albuquerque, but following the UFC’s decision to suspend the fighter and strip him of the light-heavyweight title, “Bones” has made a statement.
Late on Tuesday, the UFC confirmed that Jones has been stripped of the championship, and as a result, Daniel Cormier will instead face Anthony Johnson on May 23rd. The following tweet appeared on Jones’ official Twitter feed Tuesday night:
Got a lot of soul searching to do. Sorry to everyone I've let down.

The 27 year-old is facing up to three years in a prison, as a result of receiving a felony charge for leaving the scene of an accident.
