Jon Jones Says He’s Moving Forward “With my Head on Straight”
By FCF Staff
Jon Jones hasn’t publicly discussed his arrest and plea deal in length, but the former light-heavyweight champ is claiming that he’s learned from his mistakes.
Recently the UFC announced that it has reinstated Jones, after it was announced he’ll do no jail time, following his arrest earlier this year. It remains to be seen when Jones will make his Octagon return, but recently “Bones” did tweet out the following comments, regarding the issues that have sidelined his 2015 campaign:
Oh I will, only this time I’ll be actually focused with my head on straight https://t.co/jGG6qVw6x8

Jones is expected to fight reigning champion Daniel Cormier sometime in early 2016. The two fought this past January and Jones won the fight via unanimous decision.
