Jorge Masvidal Extends Challenge to Donald Cerrone, Latter Says He’s “Down”
By FCF Staff
Donald Cerrone has been actively campaigning for a fight in December, and it looks like at least one lightweight contender is up for the bout.
Following Jorge Masvidal’s decision win over James Krause at UFC 178, he relayed on Facebook he was up for fighting Cerrone, and he’s relayed that once again via Twitter:
“@GamebredFighter: @Cowboycerrone I'm FREE and OPEN to FIGHT U this December! This video is 4 U: https://t.co/lqacEHN4Fj
100% I'm down txs

Cerrone fought Eddie Alvarez at UFC 178, and scored a unanimous decision win over the former Bellator champ.
“The Cowboy” also relayed the following via Twitter:
Way to be respectful and do it right @GamebredFighter would love another fight this year

Now it remains to be seen if the UFC takes Cerrone and Masvidal up on their request.
