Jose Aldo Gets Rematch With Max Holloway, Following Frankie Edgar’s Withdrawal

Jose Aldo will the get the opportunity to win the UFC’s featherweight title for third time, as the Brazilian star is stepping in for the injured Frankie Edgar, and will battle champ Max Holloway on December 2nd.
Recently it was reported that Edgar has been forced out of UFC 218 due to an injury. As a result, Aldo has been booked to rematch Holloway, who stopped him back in June.
Aldo was preparing for a December 16th fight with Ricardo Lamas at UFC on FOX 26. It’s not clear yet if Lamas will remain on the upcoming card.
UFC 218 will take place in Detroit, Michigan.
