After exiting the UFC last year, former featherweight champ, Jose Aldo, has reportedly been booked for his first pro-boxing match.

The decorated fighter announced he was retiring from MMA competition last August, following his decision loss to Merab Dvalishvili. Aldo has talked about his desire to compete in professional boxing for some time, and recently he announced via social media that he will fight February 10th.

Aldo’s opponent will reportedly be Alberto Emmanuel Zambrano who has gone 0-3 to date. The fight will be a six-round contest at 140 pounds, and will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The 36-year-old Aldo went 31-8 during his MMA career.
