Score Fighting Series has announced that a bout between top ranked Canadian bantamweights Josh Hill and John Fraser will headline its upcoming August 25th event in Hamilton, Ontario.

The undefeated Hill is coming off a unanimous decision win over Eric Wilson at Score FC 4 in May to extend the 25 year-old-fighter’s record to 8-0.

Hill was quoted saying in a press release from the promotion: “I’m very excited to be back fighting for The Score Fighting Series in my hometown of Hamilton again, and I’m even more excited to be part of the main event against a top caliber fighter like John Fraser.“

Fraser (10-3) is riding a seven fight win streak and in his last outing in December, the 34 year-old submitted Travis Reddinger in the first round.

Fraser added: “This is the fight that everyone been asking for a battle between two top ranked Canadians and I am pleased to give the fans what they want.”

“Both John and Josh were on the first fight card we produced as part of The Score Fighting Series and both have perfect records inside our cage,” said The Score Fighting Series promoter Brendan Fyfe.  “Stylistically I think they will bring out the best in each other.  As a fan I couldn’t be more excited about this fight.”

The August 25th event will be hosted by the Hamilton Place Theatre and for the first time ever, the main card will be broadcast live on The Score Network.

All of the event will be streamed live on TheScore.com.
