The UFC has announced that Josh Koscheck and Jake Ellenberger have verbally agreed to fight at the promotion’s upcoming September 1st event in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The UFC 151 card is scheduled to take place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center and will feature a light-heavyweight bout between champion Jon Jones and former Strikeforce champ Dan Henderson.

Koscheck (17-6) is coming off a split decision loss to Johny Hendricks in May, after scoring wins over Mike Pierce and Matt Hughes.

The 34 year-old-fighter is 3-2 in his last five fights.

Ellenberger (27-6) will be looking to rebound from the stoppage loss he suffered versus Martin Kampmann in June, which ended the 27 year-old-fighter’s six fight winless streak.

The only other man to defeat Ellenberger in eight UFC bouts is current interim champ Carlos Condit.
