Following Justin Gaethje’s thrilling, UFC debut earlier this month, the former WSOF champ has been tapped to coach on “The Ultimate Fighter”.

Gaethje came from behind to stop Michael Johnson at the TUF 25 Finale, which took place on July 7th. Following the bout, the rugged lightweight expressed an interest in fighting Eddie Alvarez next. Since then, UFC President Dana White has told MMA Fighting’s Luke Thomas the fighters will be coaches on TUF 26.

TUF 26 will feature women’s flyweights and will crown the promotion’s first, female 125 champ. No details regarding when TUF 26 will air, or when Gaethje and Alvarez will fight, has been announced.

The latter is coming off a no-contest result against Dustin Poirier in May, after Alvarez lost the 155 title to Conor McGregor last November.
