UFC 300 has received another compelling fight, as Justin Gaethje will look to defend the BMF title against former featherweight king, Max Holloway.

Gaethje (25-4) won the symbolic, BMF belt last July, when he knocked out Dustin Poirier in the second round. More recently, UFC President Dana White announced via social media that Gaethje and Holloway will battle at UFC 300 for the BMF belt.

Holloway (25-7), meanwhile, is coming off a knockout of longtime, featherweight contender, Chan Sung Jung, last August.

The former champ hasn’t competed at lightweight since 2019, when he lost via decision to the aforementioned, Poirier.

UFC 300 will take place on April 13th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The card will also feature strawweight champion Zhang Weili taking on Yan Xiaonan
