Karl Knothe Latest Confirmed Opponent For Bobby Lashley

Lashley

By FCF Staff

After having multiple opponents fall through for a heavyweight title title fight with Bobby Lashley, Shark Fights has announced that Karl Knothe will now face the former pro wrestler at the promotion’s November 11th card.

Earlier in the week, Shark Fights announced that Mark Martinez would fight Lashley this weekend, however, according to the promotion, the fighter’s bloodwork has expired and therefore will not be cleared in time to fight. Martinez had been tapped to fight Lashley after previously confirmed opponents Dave Huckaba and Darrill Schoonover were forced to withdraw.

Knothe (20-6), who is coming off a stoppage win over UFC vet Victor Valimaki in December, has won twelve straight fights heading into Shark Fights 21.

Lashley hasn’t fought since March when he defeated John Ott by unanimous decision, while competing under the Titan Fighting Championship banner.

Shark Fights 21, which will be hosted by Lubbock’s Fair County Coliseum, will be broadcast via tape delay on FUEL TV, December 23rd.

Here is the line-up for the November 11th card.
