Kenny Florian: Ronda Rousey Camp’s Has Confirmed Pre-Fight Sparring, Following Report to The Contrary
By FCF Staff
Kenny Florian had heard Ronda Rousey may not have done much sparring prior to UFC 207, but the star’s camp has informed him that’s not the case.
During a recent episode of Florian’s podcast with Jon Anik, the former fighter, turned analyst, said he’d been told Rousey might not have sparred, before her quick loss to Amanda Nunes. Since then, however, Florian has tweeted out the following:
Although we heard that Ronda didn't spar in preparation for Nunes, Ronda's camp informed me she had 4 different quality sparring partners.

Rachael Pennington, Katelyn Young, Makela Mayer & Alfred Kashakyan. Not fair to put all the blame on a coach. https://t.co/JmDH3mYwZN

The reiging champ Nunes stopped Rousey in just 48 seconds at the December 30th event.
