Kent Kauppinen vs Justin Moore Set For CW 124

By press release

Kent Kauppinen will take on Justin Moore in his second outing for the promotion at CW 124 on 25th June.

CW 124 is the second card of Cage Warriors’ upcoming trilogy and will be an incredible night of action for fans.

Speaking on the announcement of this fight, Cage Warriors president, Graham Boylan, said: “Kent Kauppinen really impressed in his Cage Warriors debut in March, so I’m excited to see what he can produce this time.

“Justin Moore is another fighter I’m excited to see in action, he’s finished all of his wins, so he’s already shown how big a threat he can be to opponents.”

Kauppinen made his debut at CW 120 in March, taking on former title contender Jamie Richardson in the main event, winning by decision.

Talking ahead of this fight, he said: “The trilogy is always a good show to be on, and the fights are always exciting.

“I’m looking forward to showing what the team and I have been working on.”

Moore comes into Cage Warriors with a 10-5 record, and has finished all 10 of his wins, split evenly across submissions and knockouts.

Speaking on his debut against Kauppinend, he said: “Kent’s a big name but I’m looking forward to taking it to him as I always do and seeing if he can survive the onslaught I’m planning on bringing to him.”

The Trilogy is shaping up to be an important time for the middleweight division, with Nathias Frederick defending his middleweight title against Matthew Bonner at CW 123, with Christian Duncan and Will Currie squaring off in a rematch on the same card.

Cage Warriors fans can enjoy all the action of The Trilogy on UFC Fight Pass and via Cage Warriors’ global broadcasting partners.
