Khabib Nurmagomedov has repeated a couple of times now that he is retired from professional fighting. But, recently the undefeated, lightweight star reported that he’s submitted another drug test to the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).

After Nurmagomedov choked out Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 last month, the lightweight champ announced he’s retiring. Khabib said that after the passing of his father earlier this year, he promised his mother the bout would be his last.

Since his initial announcement, the 32-year-old has said in a couple of public appearances that he’s indeed retired. But, after UFC President Dana White spoke with him following UFC 254, he was left with the impression Khabib could return to pursue his 30th win.

This past weekend, the 29-0 fighter posted the image and comments below.

“This is 47 times since 2015, as I have been tested for doping of Usada. Just think about this number.”

Prior to UFC 254, and his retirement announcement, Nurmagomedov repeated his wish to fight Georges St-Pierre in 2021.
