Khabib Nurmagomedov Responds to “Fake” Conor McGregor
By FCF Staff
While firing verbal warning shots at Justin Gaethje recently, Conor McGregor also blasted Khabib Nurmagomedov, and the UFC’s lightweight champ was quick to respond.
Following Gaethje’s stoppage win over Tony Ferguson at UFC 249, McGregor targeted the new interim champ on Twitter. McGregor also took aim at Nurmagomedov’s wrestling style, and called the champion a “rat”.
Since then, Nurmagomedov tweeted out this, while referencing his largely one-sided, submission win over McGregor in 2018.
Yes, we remember you, you was so nice that night, be same, don’t be fake.

Hug legs? Have you forgot how I knock you down, or you typing tweets drunk? Beat you in striking, parts you up in wrestling, absolutely destroy you in grappling, Made you grab air with your hands, and at the end you gave up. last one, don’t forget your words ‘it’s only business’
