Khabib Nurmagomedov has repeatedly argued that Conor McGregor needs to win multiple fights before he deserves another shot at the UFC’s lightweight title. The champion has also said that he’s financially set. But, recently Nurmagomedov’s father, Abdulmanap, said a rematch could happen provided the UFC is willing to pay his son a massive sum.

Recently Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov reportedly had this to say, while discussing the possibility of Khabib fighting McGregor again (quote from MMA Mania via Tass.ru):

”We also need revenge against Conor. But give us $100 million. The day after the fight against Ferguson, give us that amount and then why not get revenge? I don’t know, maybe Dana White wants to arrange it (for that amount), he needs that fight.”

Nurmagomedov, who submitted McGregor in October, 2019, is scheduled to defend the lightweight title against Ferguson on April 18th. After McGregor’s quick win over Donald Cerrone at UFC 246, White said he wants to have the former champ fight for the 155 belt next.
