Khazmat Chimaev vs. Gilbert Burns targeted for UFC 273

In an interview with TSN’s Aaron Bronster, Dana White confirms that Khamzat Chimaev versus Gilbert Burns is being targeted for UFC 273, which is scheduled for April 9th. Bout will be contested at welterweight. Location will at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.
Khamzat Chimaev’s last performance was at UFC 267 in Abu Dhabi via first round submission against Li Jinglang and is currently 4-0 in the UFC.
Gilbert Burns’ last performance was against Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson, where he won via unanimous decision at UFC 264 last July.
