KSW 60: Phil De Fries Extends Heavyweight Reign

KSW 60 took place today in Lodz, Poland, and is saw Phil De Fries extend his reign as the promotion’s heavyweight champ.

De Fries faced light heavyweight champ Tomasz Narkun for the second time, and stopped the fighter with ground-and-pound strikes in round two. The victory marked the fifth time De Fries has defended the heavyweight title.

In March, 2019, De Fries defeated Narkun by decision.

Saturday’s action also saw lightweight champ Marian Ziółkowski submit Maciej Kazieczko, as well as decorated boxer, turned MMA fighter Izu Ugonoh lose to Marek Samociuk via TKO.
