Kurt Pellegrino In One Of The Most Honest Interviews All Fighters MUST See

In this emotional interview with Full Contact Fighter correspondent Jimmy Smith, retired MMA lightweight competitor and UFC veteran Kurt Pellegrino talks about his desire to remain involved in a sport that he loves, but no longer has the passion to compete in.

The 33-year-old Pellegrino, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt who owns and operates the Kurt Pellegrino Mixed Martial Arts Academy in New Jersey, cites instances of fighters who remained active past their primes and the tolls it took on them.

Pellegrino also talks about why he feels Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, rather than boxing or kickboxing, is the first combat discipline an aspiring mixed martial artist should take up.
