Legacy brings two title fights to Dallas!

Houston, TX – August 21, 2016 – Legacy Fighting Championships goes back to the Bomb Factory in Dallas, TX on October 14, 2016 for Legacy Fighting Championship 61 bringing not one, but two title fights!

In the main event, Legacy Bantamweight Champion Steven Peterson (14-4) defends his title for the first after winning it at LFC 56 in a thrilling bout against former champ Manny Vazquez. His first challenger is undefeated Mark De La Rosa (7-0), who will be making his Legacy debut and has 3 submission wins to his credit.

In the co-main event, Legacy Featherweight Champion Kevin Aguilar (11-1) takes on former champ Damon Jackson (9-1-1). Aguilar won his title by split decision in a competitive and close bout against Tony Kelley, and currently rides a three-fight win streak. Jackson returns to Legacy after being called up to the UFC, and he looks to reclaim the title he vacated when he left. Aguilar has won by decision only once in his professional career, while Jackson has finished his opponents in all of his wins. This fight has all the makings of an instant classic.

Also on the card, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu world champion Mackenzie Dern (1-0) continues her run in MMA as she takes on Montana Stewart (5-2); and after picking up three win in three months, Bilal Williams (7-2) looks to add a fourth win in 2016 against Melvin Jordan (4-2).
