Legacy FC 37: Daniel Pineda Submits Leonard Garcia, Latter Retires From MMA
By FCF Staff
After suffering his second, consecutive submission loss at Legacy FC 37 on Friday, UFC vet Leonard Garcia announced he’s retiring from pro MMA.
Garcia took on Daniel Pineda in the card’s main event, and the latter quickly submitted the rugged vet with a kimura.
After the bout, the 35 year-old Garcia confirmed he’s calling it quits on his MMA career, but reportedly didn’t rule out the possibility of fighting under Legacy FC’s kickboxing banner at some point.
Garcia closes out his MMA run having recorded a record of 18-13-1.
Here are the main card results for the event, which was hosted by Houston, Texas.
