LFA MMA Announces April Triple Header

HOUSTON, Texas – Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) CEO Ed Soares announced today that LFA will host three consecutive weeks of LFA events across three time zones in April. These will be the eighth, ninth, and tenth LFA events after the strategic merger between leading developmental organizations Legacy Fighting Championship (Legacy FC) and Resurrection Fighting Alliance (RFA).

“I am excited to bring the LFA across the country in April,” stated Soares. “We will start with our first east coast show in Greenville, South Carolina on April 7th, then we head to Shawnee, Oklahoma on April 14th, and we finish the month in Pueblo, Colorado on April 21st.”

The main event of LFA 8 will feature a showdown between surging Legacy FC standout C.J. “The Autobot” Hamilton and top flyweight prospect Jesse Bazzi. LFA 8 – Hamilton vs. Bazzi takes place Friday, April 7th at the TD Convention Center in Greenville, South Carolina.

The main event of LFA 9 will feature a light-heavyweight war between former Legacy FC light-heavyweight champion Myron Dennis and two-time Legacy FC title challenger Ryan “Superman” Spann. LFA 9 – Dennis vs. Spann takes place Friday, April 14th at the FireLake Casino in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

The main event of LFA 10 will feature the long-awaited middleweight clash between highly-touted and undefeated prospect Ian “The Hurricane” Heinisch and the Brazilian powerhouse Lucas Rota. LFA 10 – Heinisch vs. Rota takes place Friday, April 21st at the Massari Arena in Pueblo, Colorado.

Tickets for LFA 10 – Heinisch vs. Rota will go on sale 10:00 am this Friday, March 17th at Ticketswest.com or at any local King Soopers location.

You can also show support of your favorite LFA 9 & 10 fighters by purchasing tickets at CombatTickets.comat 10:00 am on Friday March 17th, simply choose the appropriate event and select their name at checkout.

In September, Legacy FC and RFA officials announced that they would be merging to form the premier developmental organization in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) starting in January 2017. Legacy FC and RFA have launched the careers of over 100 athletes that have reached the pinnacle of MMA by competing in the UFC.

The entire fight cards for LFA 8, LFA 9, and LFA 10 and further information regarding these events will be announced soon. LFA 8 will be the promotion’s first event on the east coast. It will also be the first time LFA has traveled to “The Palmetto State” of South Carolina before or after the merger. LFA 9 will be the promotion’s first event in “The Sooner State” of Oklahoma. LFA 10 will be the promotion’s second visit to “The Centennial State” and its first event in southern Colorado. The entire main cards of LFA 8, LFA 9, and LFA 10 will be televised live and nationwide on AXS TV at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.
