Strikeforce has confirmed several more bouts for the promotion’s upcoming August 12^th, Challengers event in Las Vegas, as well as set the main card for the Showtime broadcast.

The promotion’s18th Challengers event will be hosted by The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas,  and will feature a lightweight bout between Jorge Gurgel (14-7) and Joe Duarte (9-2) in the main event.

Other main card bouts scheduled for the Showtime broadcast include middleweight Nate James (12-7-1) vs. Danillo Villefort (13-3), lightweight Pat Healy (23-16) vs. Eric Wisely (17-5), light-heavyweight Roy Jones (5-1) vs. Derrick Mehmen (11-3) and a 145lb bout between Sarah D’Alelio (4-1) and Ronda Rousey (2-0).

The Challengers 18 preliminary card will feature light heavyweight Gian Villante (7-3) vs. Keith Berry (10-7), welterweight Nah-Shon Burrell (6-1) vs. Lukasz Les (7-2) and welterweight Chad Leonhardt (8-2) vs. Mike Bronzoulis (12-3-1).

The Showtime broadcast is scheduled to begin at 11:00 PM (PT/ ET).
