Since the UFC announced its plans earlier this year to have Georges St-Pierre face Michael Bisping, Luke Rockhold‘s been critical of the match-up, and that hasn’t changed as the fight nears.

St-Pierre will challenge the middleweight champion on November 4th at UFC 217, which will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Rockhold appeared on the latest “UFC Tonight”, and when asked to weigh-in on the bout, the former 185 champ said this (quote via FOX Sports 1 press release):

“I’ve got no opinion on that fight. I think Bisping wins the fight. I think GSP is an inflated 155 pounder. He has no business being in the division. He’s small and weak and I think he’s going to get crushed. I think he needs to get the hell out.”

Rockhold, meanwhile, is preparing to fight David Branch at UFC Fight Night 116 this Saturday. Recently Branch warned Rockhold that he should drop his “alpha male s–t”, and the latter was asked to comment on the statement.

“I don’t know. I thought he was the thug from Brooklyn. He thinks he can box, but he can’t box with me. He thinks he can grapple, but I’ll make him look like a white belt. He thinks he can wrestle. He has no idea what wrestling is.”

UFC FN 116 will take place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
