After fighting under the UFC banner for over ten years, Lyoto Machida is reportedly moving on to Bellator.

On Friday, Bellator tweeted out the comments and image below, and ESPN has confirmed that the former UFC champ has signed a multi-fight deal with the promotion. No details regarding when Machida will make his Bellator debut have been announced.

The 40 year-old Machida (24-8) is coming off a knockout win over Vitor Belfort at UFC 224 in May, and the Brazilian star is 2-3 in his last 5 bouts. Machida signed with the UFC back in 2007, and in 2009, he won the light-heavyweight title by knocking out Rashad Evans.
